BK Gubbhöft's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Lorencio Irarrázaval kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 94th minute of play. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but BK Gubbhöft were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
