Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Gualter Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Luisão Linares took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Pereiras FC's Aleksi Puhakainen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Linares came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casper Damm. After 13 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. 14 minutes into the game, Gualter Pitta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Gualter Pitta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 17 played minutes Luisão Linares rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Pitta got free with Benito Sanz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Gualter Pitta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 4-0. A hard shot by Cido de Andrade from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Aleksi Puhakainen sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Berbiz Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berbiz Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Pereiras FC's Gualter Pitta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 47th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense.

The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pereiras FC's Arman Melander was substituted for Tekin Ergalip. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Gualter Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksi Puhakainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes, Gualter Pitta made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Luisão Linares sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berbiz Ortiz in the 73rd minute of play. Pereiras FC made a substitution. Daniel Maia replaced Gualter Pitta. When Juan Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Juan Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksi Puhakainen in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Jardel Nóbrega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pereiras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Maia in the 89th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksi Puhakainen in the 91st minute of play. Aleksi Puhakainen took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. There was no doubt that Pereiras FC were the better team. Pereiras FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
