The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, ☆战国☆百战雄师's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 朱鸿志, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 宋朗卫 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 朱鸿志's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 鲁枫耀 got free with Dante Lacasa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 谢青兴 hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ☆战国☆百战雄师's 叶斐乐 got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. 宋朗卫 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ☆战国☆百战雄师's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 宋朗卫 came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, ☆战国☆百战雄师's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but 宋朗卫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with 宋朗卫 in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, 宋朗卫 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 宋朗卫 could save by the left post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 鲁枫耀 in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 宋朗卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 朱鸿志's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. A collision led to ☆战国☆百战雄师 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. 朱鸿志 hit a great ball. ☆战国☆百战雄师 made a substitution. 白飞瑜 replaced 朱鸿志. 朱鸿志 kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 宋朗卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, ☆战国☆百战雄师's goalkeeper 宋朗卫 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. ☆战国☆百战雄师's 范杰军 was substituted for 叶斐乐. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after ☆战国☆百战雄师's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by 白飞瑜 in the 89th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 宋朗卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
