Cosimo Avesani charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosimo Avesani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Forte. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cosimo Avesani hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Aloisi got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Edoardo Rinaldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Aloisi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edoardo Rinaldi in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Andreola. Alberto Andreola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Andreola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Rinaldi came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Berardo in the 91st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Berardo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Valdieri players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
