Andrew Carrillos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Carrillos in the 22nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Andrew Carrillos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Cassius Byrne might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kryspin Dembkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cassius Byrne ran back to his position shaking his head.

In the 64th minute, Monty Rogers made a precise shot to the right of Kryspin Dembkowski. Victoria Mlawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kryspin Dembkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
