Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Jakue in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. In the 5thth minute of the game Isaias Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Buceo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Isaias Jakue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Jakue came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Juan Sartori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of USA booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Horquizar came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of USA booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Le Fei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Horquizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximo Horquizar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Monty Rogers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Maximo Horquizar made a huge save. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Diego Bradley with Monty Rogers as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

In the 52nd minute of the match USA got a corner. Sporting Buceo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 54th minute of play. Maximo Horquizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zach Harrison went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Isaias Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar. Maximo Horquizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Xinto Carreiras replaced Isaias Jakue. Sam Campbell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xinto Carreiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Xinto Carreiras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. USA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
