Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Linares in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Luisão Linares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Zorita. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Pitta got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Luisão Linares made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 24 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Linares came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksi Puhakainen in the 37th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Dick Batum took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Aleksi Puhakainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pereiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksi Puhakainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Luisão Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Luisão Linares made the kick off in the second half. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Aleksi Puhakainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisão Linares struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pereiras FC. Pereiras FC made a substitution. Arman Melander replaced Tekin Ergalip. Gualter Pitta succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. Gualter Pitta took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Aleksi Puhakainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pereiras FC's Daniel Maia was substituted for Gualter Pitta. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Maia scored 9-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pereiras FC's Jardel Nóbrega shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 11-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 90 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's Casper Damm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Daniel Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Daniel Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksi Puhakainen came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
