Llamas's Kaupo Nuiamäe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 4th minute of the game. 5 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leo Kutsar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Carballo made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Noboa however managed to control. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Llamas's Lembitu Maandi. In the 18th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Kutsar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Kutsar made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Kutsar was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Lembitu Maandi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Llamas's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Leo Kutsar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Llamas's Lembitu Maandi got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 60th minute of play forced Llamas's goalkeeper Leo Kutsar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Kutsar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leo Kutsar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes in the game Efrain Moruga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Noboa. Hugo Ferrant made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Llamas's Tarvi Oja. The Costa Rica players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
