Fedele Scirea took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Naci Şehzat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naci Şehzat. Naci Şehzat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. He walked away shaking his head. After 27 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naci Şehzat was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute Fedele Scirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CLUB ROSE GARDEN's Naci Şehzat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Scirea in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by Fedele Scirea from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. The CLUB ROSE GARDEN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fedele Scirea was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Fedele Scirea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Fedele Scirea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Naci Şehzat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Fedele Scirea managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB ROSE GARDEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedele Scirea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Scirea came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CLUB ROSE GARDEN getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Şener Kazan hit a great ball. If Fedele Scirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Fedele Scirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naci Şehzat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The CLUB ROSE GARDEN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
