Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marek Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Mietus in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Leonard Furgat got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the game Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in which Lautaro Puig played forward. Leonard Furgat hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Aureliusz Mietus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Mietus in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Leonard Furgat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Gierlach having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Przemyslaw Zahemski during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Galaxy Team U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Zahemski to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Lucjan Gierlach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Mietus in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marek Skoroda fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaxy Team U18's protests and gave Marek Skoroda a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Marek Skoroda.

After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Aureliusz Mietus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Lucjan Gierlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Skoroda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Aureliusz Mietus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliusz Mietus. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Furgat in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Galaxy Team U18 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kazimierz Lichucki went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Marek Skoroda took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Galaxy Team U18 played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
