Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a CLUB ROSE GARDEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CLUB ROSE GARDEN:s goal. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Ali Kuscu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Fedele Scirea made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. If Fedele Scirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Fedele Scirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Scirea, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. The referee gave CLUB ROSE GARDEN a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ali Kuscu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 4-0. In the 70th minute Fedele Scirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fedele Scirea came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the CLUB ROSE GARDEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Scirea couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naci Şehzat having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Scirea in the 83rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Scirea in the 86th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Sungur Demirtuğ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLUB ROSE GARDEN and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedele Scirea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 99 played minutes CLUB ROSE GARDEN got a freekick which was hit by Abay Bozdağ. There was no doubt that CLUB ROSE GARDEN were the better team. CLUB ROSE GARDEN's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
