Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Aleksander Ånestad made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Aleksander Ånestad got a free kick in the 4th minute. Åsnes's Christer Waaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute of play. Sebastian Villa scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Waaler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aleksander Ånestad, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Aleksander Ånestad made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. 27 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Åsnes's Christer Waaler. Christer Waaler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Christian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Waaler. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Waaler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 55 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Haugvaldstad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 57th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Rustad's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Rustad helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Rustad kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Christer Waaler in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Christer Waaler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 62 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Martin Rustad. The supporters of Honduras booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Haugvaldstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Waaler was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edmundo Espiga. With a little luck, Åsnes's Christer Waaler got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Jon-Egil Gjelsvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. John-Einar Bøen hit a great ball. A hard shot 78 in the game by Sebastian Villa from a close distance when the talented Christer Waaler managed to make a qualified save. Åsnes's players were relieved. In the 87th minute, Tobias Haugvaldstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Aleksander Ånestad got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Waaler was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Martin Rustad hit a great ball. The Åsnes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
