Joshua Garrido's late challenge caught a Sporting Buceo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joshua Garrido helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Jakue came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charly Good showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 84 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Maureen Franco came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Xinto Carreiras sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xinto Carreiras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 91 minute of play. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Charly Good scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-6. The Sporting Buceo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
