Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rothenburg SSA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Artur Borubar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Rothenburg SSA's Artur Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rothenburg SSA's Artur Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Artur Borubar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Rothenburg SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Borubar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Borubar having to make a save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Pruss, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Kajetan Pruss came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kajetan Pruss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Artur Borubar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Artur Borubar in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rothenburg SSA's Artur Borubar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Rothenburg SSA from getting a goal against them. Artur Borubar was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Rothenburg SSA's Szczepan Zielinski was substituted for Zachariasz Ratulowski. Rothenburg SSA's Antoni Grondzki was substituted for Tomasz Jajecznica. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Borubar came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 90 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Imbor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rothenburg SSA getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Igor Dembowski hit a great ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rothenburg SSA throughout the match.
