Coriano FC's Dino Cara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Alcocer. Armando Adriano struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coriano FC. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Coriano FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
