Constantin Dică could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 22nd minute of the game Șerban Oancea made a throw-in which Gabriel Macovei played forward. When Șerban Oancea fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC AdibA's protests and gave Șerban Oancea a yellow card for diving instead. Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo was substituted for Patricio Costa. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC AdibA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Oancea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Dicăs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gabriel Macovei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After having played for 40 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantin Dică made a kick off. Roberto Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Panait having to interfere. After 56 played minutes FC AdibA got a freekick which was hit by Costin Maghear. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. After 65 played minutes, FC AdibA's Constantin Dică shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC AdibA reached it. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Dică in the 70th minute of play. The FC AdibA fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when FC AdibA's Constantin Dică looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gelu Troncotă kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. FC AdibA's Avram Panait proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC AdibA from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Roberto Ocampo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Ocampo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avram Panait breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Dică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Dică in the 85th minute of the match. Șerban Oancea made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. The FC AdibA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Venezuela's performance. The match ended with a win for Venezuela.
