After a rather tough play, FK Mazda Svidník's Matúš Závodský got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stanislav Saktor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but FK Mazda Svidník were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
