The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Adrian Txindoki in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of play. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Viseu United from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Adrian Txindoki made a huge save. The throw-in from Jiang Lin Xing in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Jose Manzanedo. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Gdowski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viseu United's attentive Hamílton Linhares managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Fontirroig made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Viseu United's Martin Min was substituted for António Silva. The Chile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viseu United were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ziemowit Gdowski made a kick off. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chile's much stronger midfield.
