Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A hard shot 18 in the game by Ceferino Odol from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Tomasz Frankowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Radomil Gacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Frankowski in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Tomasz Frankowski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the game, Tomasz Frankowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Frankowski in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomasz Frankowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Ceferino Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Frankowski in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stal Rzeszów's Izydor Pietrasz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Stal Rzeszów from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tomasz Frankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stal Rzeszów's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomasz Frankowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Tomasz Frankowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. 5-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Ceferino Odol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Izydor Pietrasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Stal Rzeszów got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Quiroga. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stal Rzeszów's Barnaba Waselenczuk. But to his dismay, Barnaba Waselenczuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. There was no doubt that Stal Rzeszów were the better team. Stal Rzeszów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
