In the 29th match minute, Baboszewo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Latocha to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Francisco Seco made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Baboszewo's Zdzislaw Maziarz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zdzislaw Maziarz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Zdzislaw Maziarz in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 37th minute of play forced Baboszewo's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Maziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Kaczanka made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Izydor Redisz however managed to control. In the 39th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Baboszewo booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Wawrukiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Zdzislaw Maziarz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zdzislaw Maziarz made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edward Wawrukiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baboszewo's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Wawrukiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Zdzislaw Maziarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdzislaw Maziarz came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 66th minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zdzislaw Maziarz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 4-1 became the score in the 72nd minute when Francisco Seco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 75th minute of play forced Baboszewo's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Maziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. Arkadiusz Jeziorkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdzislaw Maziarz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Wawrukiewicz's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baboszewo's goalie prevented a goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 94th minute of play forced Baboszewo's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Maziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Uruguay were the better team. Uruguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
