Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Vern Wright made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boyd Winkler. Pueblo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Peru's Efraim Gilabert got a free kick in the 10th minute. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyd Winkler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Ari Willingham made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Boyd Winkler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 21st minute of the match. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Russell Hare sent off a good shot on target. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Franco came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pueblo FC's Gerry Franco. But to his dismay, Gerry Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Pueblo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Boyd Winkler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes Pueblo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Boyd Winkler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gerry Franco's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerry Franco helped the player get up and apologised. Gerry Franco hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Pueblo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Boyd Winkler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Boyd Winkler came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 72nd minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boyd Winkler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Franco in the 80th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Franco in the 80th minute of play. Boyd Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 84th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. Ari Willingham made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tyrell Houser immediately put the ball in play. In the 89th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boyd Winkler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 90th minute. Emmanuel Reyes made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 92nd minute Vern Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Aldo Singleton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pueblo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. The supporters of Peru booed when Pueblo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Singleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Gallos short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Boyd Winkler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Pueblo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
