Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's Igor Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bandeca FC's Igor Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Tiago Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Hunor Adam, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Gamus saved Bandeca FC from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Gamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Julio Vera was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Igor Mota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Igor Mota really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Gamus. Bandeca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Gamus. Guaberto Gamus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Gamus came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Hunor Adam kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bandeca FC's Vito Montenegro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 54 minute of the game. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Mota's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Gamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Gamus having to interfere. Luis Andinos short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Guaberto Gamus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandeca FC's Igor Mota. But to his dismay, Igor Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bandeca FC's Fernando Banders was substituted for Tiago Ortiz. Bandeca FC made a substitution. Rui Gaspar replaced Hugo Ribeiro. Guaberto Gamus made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes, David Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandeca FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guaberto Gamus was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 3-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Banders in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Vito Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador played a much better game than Bandeca FC and deserved their victory. The Bandeca FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
