Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iago Aspas started the match with the kick off. Pirsus's attentive Jonathan Helleren managed to snatch the ball when Mateo Leguizamo made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Pirsus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Lehner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Steiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Giuliano Spiller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Giuliano Spiller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Steiger came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Abram Luque. But to his dismay, Abram Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 31 played minutes Pirsus got a freekick which was hit by Iago Aspas. In the 39th minute, Geronimo Lehner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Iago Aspas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iago Aspas in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Giuliano Spiller came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuliano Spiller in the 62nd minute of play. Valentino Ferrant's late challenge caught a Pirsus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentino Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Steiger having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Aspas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Luis Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pirsus getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Giuliano Spiller hit a great ball. Dan Steiger was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Moises Fernandino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moises Fernandino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The Pirsus fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Pirsus's Giuliano Spiller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iago Aspas struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirsus. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Ziegler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
