After having played for 18 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Rocchi took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Sandberg having to interfere. The Xv de Piracicaba fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Xv de Piracicaba's Jeronimo Txatxu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Txatxu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Sandberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Ander Uibomäe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Jose Correa got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jeronimo Txatxu succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. The throw-in from Meng Jie Xing in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. In the 69th minute, Jeronimo Txatxu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. In the 73rd minute Jeronimo Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Jeronimo Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
