Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo did a great save. After 12 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Leite. Gonzalo Jurdan struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Piracicaba. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fonso Zotillo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Severino Capixaba scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes of play, XV de Piracicaba's Severino Capixaba made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murillo Trigo made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gonzalo Jurdan however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Montoia in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Jurdan to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fonso Zotillo having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Gonzalo Jurdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Murillo Trigo made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gonzalo Jurdan immediately put the ball in play. In the 69th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Montoia came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Jurdan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 78 minutes into the game, XV de Piracicaba's Haruna Hassan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Fonso Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Gonzalo Jurdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonzalo Jurdans short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
