Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) PLUMIN's Jorge Cristofol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the PLUMIN defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Matteo. The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Matteo should have stopped the shot. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Matteo having to interfere. In the 10th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo. Leonides Matteo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Flavio Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when PLUMIN's Jorge Cristofol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Leonides Matteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Leonides Matteo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 34th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Matteo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Matteo. PLUMIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Leonides Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Matteo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Jorge Cristofol kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Matteo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 58th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 60th minute of play. Enzo Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Matteo came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Leonides Matteo made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Leonides Matteo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Matteo. Leonides Matteo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Matteo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Matteo having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonides Matteo, 0-11. With a little luck, PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 92nd minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PLUMIN throughout the match.
