Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leon Matthäus started the match with the kick off. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Matthäus's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, USA's Raphael Moore got a free kick in the 8th minute. Leon Matthäus scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Matthäus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Leon Matthäus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia 1903's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Matthäus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primo Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Monty Rogers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Primo Speranza. The goal made the score 1-1. USA were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Academia 1903's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. In the 42nd minute, Zach Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia 1903's Primo Speranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Marco Rincón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Academia 1903 made a substitution. Jakub Fedor replaced Jeremias Ezkerra. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Primo Speranza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, USA's Cassius Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Primo Speranza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Benjamin Myhr hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Academia 1903 made a substitution. Gérard Magyar replaced Harald Ek. Primo Speranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 73rd minute of play. Timoteo Columbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Primo Speranza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Primo Speranza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Sam Campbell made a precise shot to the right of Primo Speranza. Academia 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 92ndth minute of the game Sam Campbell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia 1903's Primo Speranza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 98th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Primo Speranza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the USA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
