Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vencho Zlatarev during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Сакарско орехче was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vencho Zlatarev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Chilov might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute Miho Pogonchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
