Peter Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Schmeichel could save by the left post. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Peter Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Peter Schmeichel in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Schmeichel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Peter Schmeichel made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Jindřich Benc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. When José Vilhena came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Vilhena couldn't finish the play. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guo Yu Cheng in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jindřich Benc. After 95 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Colombia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI had controlled the match.
