Hamburg Fighters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. After taking down the ball on Hamburg Fighters's corner Wieslaw Obuchowicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Per Schmettau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Per Schmettau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares stood somewhat misplaced when Dinu Bocu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Pavlos Konstantakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Brandon Rick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Pavlos Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Wieslaw Obuchowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Fonseca. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinu Bocu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Balla in the 51st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Bocu came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Bocu in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Konstantakakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pavlos Konstantakakis. Pavlos Konstantakakis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Balla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pavlos Konstantakakis made a huge save. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavlos Konstantakakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Pavlos Konstantakakis made a huge save. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Hamburg Fighters were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wieslaw Obuchowicz took the corner. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianni Balla, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The attack was good, but when Gianni Balla in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavlos Konstantakakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Hamburg Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Abram Secada hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 88th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Hamburg Fighters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. Colombia's Kevin Mastache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pavlos Konstantakakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Hamburg Fighters supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colombia's performance. The match ended with a win for Colombia.
