Thomas Leonidis came out of the goal and Kyle Davies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Kluivert's late challenge caught a Curacao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Kluivert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Curacao booed when Weijereind S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Kluivert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Kevin Hoogsteen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weijereind S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. Kyle Davies hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Wesley Reitsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Harvey Doyle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Curacao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Weijereind S.C.:s goal. After a rather tough play, Weijereind S.C.'s Wesley Reitsma got a free kick in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Reitsma came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Marshall Graham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Weijereind S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Spyros Skalidis in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wesley Reitsma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 86 minute of play. During the 92nd minute of the match Richard Kluivert completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Richard Kluivert a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Curacao's Jaiden Hudson was substituted for Troy Kennedy. After 94 played minutes Weijereind S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Richard Kluivert. In the 96th minute, Jaiden Hudson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
