The corner went over the outstretched arms of Deportivo Mandiyu's goalie and right to Eliseo Mina. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jonas Andrae hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Bastian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Jonas Koldobika made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abelardo Magallanes immediately put the ball in play. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Palacios in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Rodrigo Palacios tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Bastian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Palacios in the 35th minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Jonas Koldobika made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Eulalio Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Magallanes. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Zhu Bin Kun sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Eulalio Bastian made a huge save. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhu Bin Kun in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Eulalio Bastian in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Palacios in the 59th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 61 minutes of play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Alejo Bermudo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Jonas Koldobika in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With an all-out effort, Peru's Eulalio Bastian threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eulalio Bastian was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Eulalio Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of play. Pipis Vattimos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Pipis Vattimos hit a great ball. Eulalio Bastian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Mina in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eulalio Bastian. Rafael Gallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Deportivo Mandiyu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Antonio Tenorio scored to the left of an out of position Eulalio Bastian, making the score, 2-3. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Bermudo in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peru booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Andrae didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Bastian was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eliseo Mina. Peru played a much better game than Deportivo Mandiyu and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Mandiyu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
