The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliya Tabachnik got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 袁昂宁 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 12th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yashawn Kronfield to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when 袁昂宁 came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliya Tabachnik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 62nd minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Vang in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, one of Panama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marcos Cotilla had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jamar Vang's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Yefet Bar-Zohar scored 7-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Panama booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamar Vang didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The G.R. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
