Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Maurycy, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Felix Montenegro sped through ORIZABA F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliver Kan. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s 柯西升 got a free kick in the 27th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaroslaw Maurycy to make the kick off. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORIZABA F.C. the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Oliszewski in the 92nd minute of play. Cyprian Oliszewski took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, ORIZABA F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
