Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Mutumba kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Martin Mutumba sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Hugo Eden struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Abdi Revis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Abdi Revis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 19th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Abdi Revis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Mutumba in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Mutumba in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play. Camilo Gaos tried in the 30th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Jonathan Ferrant a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 5-0. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Martin Mutumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Tage Glanselius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vykans Vikingar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Mats Hermansson. But to his dismay, Mats Hermansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Vykans Vikingar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson was substituted for Elliott Bogren. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Abdi Revis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Abdi Revis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Abdi Revis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdi Revis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Hílton Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Leonardo Trancoso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jonathan Ferrant was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Revis in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Mats Hermansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Vykans Vikingar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
