The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Pehmeät Jänikset:s goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antti Forsman in the 23rd minute. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play forced Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's goalkeeper Aulis Takala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antti Forsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Antti Forsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antti Forsman in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Fc Pehmeät Jänikset were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aílton Carvalho took the corner. The corner ended in Aílton Carvalho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. After 61 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Fc Pehmeät Jänikset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jukka-Pekka Ruohiainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jukka-Pekka Ruohiainen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Joshua Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aulis Takala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antti Forsman in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Antti Forsman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jukka-Pekka Ruohiainen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Aulis Takala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, 胡洲烨 made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
