Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Montevideo City Torque got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustín Álvarez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Gu Sha Zhen drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Chile's goalkeeper. In the 16thth minute of the game Reuben Meade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 18th minute of play. Christophe Troxler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of the match. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 23rd minute of play. If Guillelme Lomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Gallegos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, Chile's Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christophe Troxler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chile reached it. 38 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Álvarez. When Montevideo City Torque's Agustín Álvarez in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Montevideo City Torque got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustín Álvarez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 83rd minute of play. Gu Sha Zhen charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gu Sha Zhen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chile booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gu Sha Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montevideo City Torque's Yves Passot was substituted for Agustín Álvarez. In the 88th minute, Gu Sha Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Mariano Lacasa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christophe Troxler firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Gu Sha Zhen got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montevideo City Torque fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
