Llamas's Lembitu Maandi got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Llamas's attentive Tarvi Oja managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Kutsar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. Abel Carballo made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Llamas's Laur Eelmäe. Laur Eelmäe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llamas's Tarvi Oja managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lautaro Puig in the 21 minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Llamas's attentive Laur Eelmäe managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Noboa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the game Efrain Moruga made a throw-in which Eliseo Noboa played forward. In the 36th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Llamas's Lembitu Maandi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Vasser, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Llamas's goalkeeper Leo Kutsar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Llamas's Leo Kutsar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Llamas from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Kutsar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Llamas's Tarvi Oja. Efrain Moruga made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Llamas's Kaarel Järve. Hugo Ferrant made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aaron Alcocer. In the 72nd minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Leo Kutsar. Llamas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Llamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarvi Oja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Rubio made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Llamas's Lembitu Maandi. Leo Kutsar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 88th minute of the match. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Puig. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Laur Äike capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laur Äike really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
