Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Jon Hesjedal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Jon Hesjedal in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Gjessing in the 9th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Rune Gjessing notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 16 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Rune Gjessing. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jon Hesjedal in the 18 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Jon Hesjedal in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Christer Waaler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Hestad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Morten Hestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Morten Hestad came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Hesjedal made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 43 minutes into the game, Jon Hesjedal threw the ball into play from the sideline. The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Åsnes's goalie and right to Luca Espinar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Åsnes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Rune Gjessing sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Dan Ødegaard got a free kick in the 60th minute. The attack was good, but when Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kenneth Leidland hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Christer Waaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Morten Hestad took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Åsnes's Christer Waaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 69th minute of play. Christer Waaler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rune Gjessing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Rune Gjessing slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 74th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Hestad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the game Martin Rustad made a throw-in which Rune Gjessing played forward. When Morten Hestad came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Åsnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morten Hestad couldn't finish the play. Morten Hestad kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kristian Sandersen. 93 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Waaler. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Åsnes were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Honduras side.
