Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aybek Orcun, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Alvarez having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Aybek Orcun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Marlin FC were awarded a corner. Aybek Orcun went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Alvarez made a huge save. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 32 minutes, Linus Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Orcun in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Arias lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Marlin FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aybek Orcun took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aybek Orcun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybek Orcun in the 45th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Linus Fredriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Marlin FC's Linus Fredriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Marlin FC's Linus Fredriksson in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 61st minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Linus Fredriksson's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Linus Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Aybek Orcun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Carlos Alvarez. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yin Yang fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
