Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Lázaro Ekain tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GARIBALDI FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Hugo Jacinto hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Hugo Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GARIBALDI FC. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lázaro Ekain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Ekain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GARIBALDI FC! After a defensive mix-up in GARIBALDI FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Llorian came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Hourani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Rene Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Rene Llorian threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Lázaro Ekain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by GARIBALDI FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rene Llorian quite easily take care of the ball. Gustav Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of GARIBALDI FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rene Llorian, 2-1. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Llorian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Ekain went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. GARIBALDI FC's Dedê Koehler was substituted for Hugo Jacinto. GARIBALDI FC's Nicolas Eduino was substituted for Raul Transito. In the 86th minute Lázaro Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 87th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Hourani, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GARIBALDI FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
