Pär Löfdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Olsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Waller got free with Julio Vera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Martin Olsman sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jon Waller who took care of the corner kick. Karl-Erik Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Martin Olsman might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Olsman ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Waller was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Olsman in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon Waller in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Jon Waller took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pär Löfdahl made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Olsman in the 67th minute of the match. AZAT MARD FC's Sebastian Åkerman was substituted for Jon Waller. After 69 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Olsman who took care of the corner kick. Primitivo Andino thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Julio Vera, a very annoying self made goal in the 70th minute which led to 4-0. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. AZAT MARD FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Martin Olsman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Olsman in the 76th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Pär Löfdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita had several of the AZAT MARD FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Pär Löfdahl as he didn't even see the shot coming. AZAT MARD FC's Pär Löfdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save AZAT MARD FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Olsman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Olsman was slow to take the kick. During this time AZAT MARD FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AZAT MARD FC's corner Martin Olsman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball.
