The COSMOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicklas Karlsson was the one to do the kick off. Tadeusz Bielatowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, COSMOS's Azli Lim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquin Gayoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. COSMOS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After taking down the ball on COSMOS's corner Tomasz Mroczynski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. Isaac Verduin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. After 99 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomasz Mroczynski who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as COSMOS's Jerzy Turak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-5 after 100 minutes of play. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching COSMOS's performance. The match ended with a win for COSMOS.
