An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Polenz in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Wallersdorf's Ye Wei Si got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Zoltán Varga came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Bobadilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zoltán Varga to strike the kick off in the second half. Elia Bobadilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
