Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Göksel Canfeda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeng Chong Kang's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by istanbulls's Zeng Chong Kang. But to his dismay, Zeng Chong Kang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 44 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Cismarescu. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Alp Enginalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Senna in the 51st minute of play. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göksel Canfeda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Chong Kang in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 78th minute. Zeng Chong Kang scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. istanbulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Luca Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Göksel Canfeda, making the score, 2-2. 87 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Lautaro Mancebos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Göksel Canfeda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeng Chong Kang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mexico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented istanbulls from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
