Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Carrillos in the 4th minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Carrillos in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Victoria Mlawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Van Mechelen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos. But to his dismay, Andrew Carrillos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Carrillos came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Andrew Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Carrillos in the 25th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Carrillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Victoria Mlawa's Olaf Redisz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Carvallo, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Andrew Carrillos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Carrillos's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Andrew Carrillos sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. 42 minutes into the match, Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrew Carrillos made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Carrillos in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kryspin Dembkowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrew Carrillos went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Carrillos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoria Mlawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walter Van Mechelen in the 69th minute. Victoria Mlawa's Walter Van Mechelen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Andrew Carrillos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Andrew Carrillos had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-5 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Andrew Carrillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Victoria Mlawa made a substitution. Jurand Lenertej replaced Andrew Carrillos. A collision led to Victoria Mlawa getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kazimierz Golota hit a great ball. Franek Kalafus made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jurand Lenertej however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Lenertej in the 86th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Victoria Mlawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Golota didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Jurand Lenertej had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Lenertej was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7.
