After having played for 20 minutes, José Vilhena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vilhena in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guo Yu Cheng was slow to take the kick. During this time FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Vilhena in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind.

Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vilhena's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vilhena in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guo Yu Cheng who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fahrettin Kirtekin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's José Vilhena got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI had won after a very even match.
