Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes of play, The Heren Istarion's Elberg Azov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elberg Azov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match The Heren Istarion got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fred Amorim ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jan-Ove Berglund heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 27 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Heren Istarion the free kick. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Khamzat Chimaev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Heren Istarion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khamzat Chimaev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicanor Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Elberg Azov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Elberg Azov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 2-1. After 48 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. Khamzat Chimaev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khamzat Chimaev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Heren Istarion's Christopher Öberg was substituted for Big Brainovich. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. When The Heren Istarion's Christopher Öberg in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. Oliver Åberg made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. In the 67th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Oliver Åberg made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. 76 minutes into the game, Elberg Azov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79thth minute of the game Christopher Öberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes, Sebastian Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the The Heren Istarion players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 80th minute. Lukas Drewitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes The Heren Istarion got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Öberg. Christian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Öberg in the 88th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christopher Öberg's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The Heren Istarion's Jan-Ove Berglund got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Heren Istarion's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
