Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Abram Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute of the match, Magno Aparecido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute Minho FC were awarded a corner. Demetrio Savini went to the cornerflag to take it. Minho FC's attentive Rowan Dobson managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Zeferino Diegues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Carballar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 21 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demetrio Savini who took care of the corner kick. 24 minutes into the game, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 27th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Garrido to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Magno Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Magno Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Minho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Demetrio Savini in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Demetrio Savini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Magno Aparecido had several of the Colombia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cláudio Santiago's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Santiago helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Santiago. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demetrio Savini made a great header on Minho FC's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. Minho FC's Zeferino Diegues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magno Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Minho FC's Zeferino Diegues got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeferino Diegues. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Minho FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Diegues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Aparecido in the 62nd minute of the match. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeferino Diegues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Zeferino Diegues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 67th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Aparecido in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match, Axel Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zeferino Diegues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zeferino Diegues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Aparecido in the 79th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Minho FC's Aldo Santana was substituted for Cláudio Santiago. Minho FC's Salah el Din Khan was substituted for Ivo Mourato. Minho FC's Hélder Soveral was substituted for Magno Aparecido. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. After 83 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Paez. Zeferino Diegues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Zeferino Diegues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 89th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Abram Secada took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Zeferino Diegues to make any attempt to save it. Minho FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Ignacio Mastache scored to the left of an out of position Zeferino Diegues, making the score, 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
