Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play. Nana Lider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of the match. Nana Lider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. 徐文枫 came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nana Lider read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atletico Los Andes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Luca Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nana Lider in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Nana Lider. Club Atletico Los Andes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, 徐文枫 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and 徐文枫 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Anacleto Tiniebra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Tiniebra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Lider having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Los Andes's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nana Lider came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nemesio Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Nana Lider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 45th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Los Andes's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anacleto Tiniebra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul made a kick off. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anacleto Tiniebra hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 徐文枫 in the 66th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Facundo Cadaval kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nana Lider. That made the score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nana Lider was left in no man's land by his defense there!
